Telangana receives 50 pc more rainfall during water year 2020-21 : Report

Hyderabad, Oct 2 (UNI) Telangana had received 50 per cent more rainfall during the water year 2020-21 as compared to normal annual rainfall up to September, 2020.
The state had received actual rainfall of 1078.3 mm against 720.4 mm of normal rainfall up to September 30 and it ranges from 636 mm (Nalgonda District) to 1916 mm (Mulugu), State Ground Water Department said in its water level Scenario Report for the month of September.
Out of 33 districts, 27 districts received more rainfall than normal rainfall (+24% to 150%) and remaining districts received Normal rainfall (-14 to 11%), the report said.
