Heavy rain likely in Rayalaseema over next five days: Met Centre

Amaravati, Oct 6 (UNI) The Meteorological Centre here on Monday forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in Rayalaseema over the next five days.
In its daily weather report, the Centre said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong winds with speeds of 30–40 kmph are likely at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, and at a few places in Rayalaseema, during the next seven days. Thunderstorms with lightning are also likely in these regions over the next five days.
