AP: 12 people killed in floods, CM to conduct aerial survey

Kadapa, Nov 19 (UNI) The heavy rains and the floods under the influence of low pressure have claimed 12 lives in YSR Kadapa district and some others were missing, it was reported on Friday.
Police said that three APSRTC buses were struck in the flood water at Nandaluru, Mandavalli and Aakapadu villages in Rajampet division in the district. The Cheyyuru reservoir breached resulting in the three buses getting submerged in the flood water.
Some of the passengers in one of the buses were found washed away in the swirling flood water. Seven bodies were fished out at Gudluru village, three bodies were retrieved at Rayavaram village and two were fished out at Madanapalle village. The officials were trying to establish whether they were the bus passengers or belonged to the nearby villagers.
