Telangana secures Rs 15,279 cr tourism investments at ‘Tourism Conclave-2025’

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Telangana marked World Tourism Day with the 'Tourism Conclave-2025' held at Shilparamam on Saturday, drawing significant national and international attention.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy attended as the chief guest, along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari, Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju, Tourism Corporation Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy, and other senior officials.
During the conclave, the state government signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with various organisations for a total investment of Rs 15,279 crore aimed at transforming Telangana into a global tourism hub.

Kottayam (Kerala), Nov 16 (UNI) In an unusual and symbolic protest against the reservation system in elections, a male candidate has filed his nomination in a reserved ward exclusively for women in Pala Municipality, calling the quota policy “undemocratic.”
E B J Jose, Chairman of the Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation, submitted his nomination papers for Ward 9 (Kochippadi), which is reserved exclusively for women candidates.
