Telangana: Police foils attempt to seize Education Minister's Office by AISA

Hyderabad, July 20 (UNI) Telangana Police on Wednesday foiled the attempt to seize Education Minister Sabitha Indrareddy's Office at Basheerbagh by Left wing student union All India Students' Association (AISA).

The students union held a dharna in front of the Education Minister's Office at Basheerbagh, demanding charted demands including immediate supply of pending text books, uniforms. Release of pending scholarships and fee reimbursement. Sanctioning of free bus passes for all the students. Increase of Mid Day Meal amount. Introduction of a new Act to control fee structure in private and corporate educational institutions and filling up all the teacher posts.
