Limited pilgrims to be allowed in Navarathri brahmotsavam Vahana Sevas in four mada streets in Tirumala: Addl EO

Tirumala, Oct 1 (UNI) TTD Additional Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy on Thursday evening said that limited pilgrims would be allowed during the procession of vahana sevas in four mada streets during the Navarathri Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala scheduled to be held in next couple of weeks.
Reviewing over the arrangements need to be taken up for the upcoming Brahmotsavams with all the departments of Tirumala tirupati devasthanam (TTD) in coordination with district management and police, at Annamaiah Bhavan here along with District Collector Bharat Narayan Gupta, Mr Reddy said to conduct the procession of Vahana Sevas in four mada streets allowing a limited number of pilgrims and those only with Darshan tickets into galleries including Garuda Seva.
The morning Vahana Sevas will take place between 8am and 10am while the evening sevas between 7pm and 9pm including Garuda Seva on October 20, he said.

Hyderabad, April 24 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a communication stipulating that every individual employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or establishment, eligible to vote in elections to the House of the People or the Legislative Assembly of a State, shall be granted a paid holiday under Section 135 B of the Representation of People Act.
