Around 63k SCR employees to benefit from the New ‘Unified Pension Scheme’

Hyderabad, Aug 27 (UNI) The recently approved ‘Unified Pension Scheme’ (UPS) for Central and State Government employees will benefit around 63,000 SCR employees, said P. Kishore Babu, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, South Central Railway (SCR) here on Tuesday.
Briefing the media personnel on the highlights and benefits of the newly announced scheme, Kishore stated that the Scheme can be opted for by all the central government employees who are subscribers of the New Pension Scheme.
He stated that around 23 lakh Central Government employees will be benefited from the recently announced Unified Pension Scheme.
