SCR GM holds review meet on Safety of Train Operations in Secunderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 28 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Arun Kumar Jain held a detailed review meeting on Safety of train operations across the Zone at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on Monday.
Principal Heads of Departments, Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions participated through video conference.
During the meeting, Jain reviewed in detail the special safety drive undertaken across all six divisions of the zone for prevention of fire incidents in trains. The General Manager advised the officials to carry out intensive checks to prevent carriage of unauthorized items (such as flammables) by the passengers. He reiterated that all the on-board staff should be counseled to be vigilant and take prompt action.
