SWR: RPF launches women passengers protection service in trains

Hubballi, Oct 29 (UNI) The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the Hubballi Division of the South Western Railway (SWR) has launched a Women Passengers protection initiative called 'Meri Saheli' with immediate effect in Trains originating from Hubballi Division.
The initiative is launched as the Train services are being introduced in phased manner and also Special Trains are being run in view of the Festive Season, a SWR statement said here on Thursday.
To begin with, the Women protection initiative service has been launched in Four pairs of Trains in the Division. viz., Hubballi-Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat-Niamuddin- Hubballi-Vasco Da Gama Express Special, Hubballi-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Hubballi Express Special, Hubballi-Vijayawada-Hubballi Express Special and Gadag-Mumbai CSMT-Gadag Express Special, the statement said.
