KTR demands inquiry into alleged corruption in Telangana AMRUT scheme tenders

Hyderabad, Sep 20 (UNI) BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) has written to Union Ministers for Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar and Tochhan Sahu, raising concerns over corruption in tenders under the AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) scheme in Telangana.
In his letter, KTR accused the state government of awarding contracts worth hundreds of crores to companies linked to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's family, particularly his brother-in-law, Srujan Reddy, despite their lack of qualifications. He demanded the public release of all tender details from the last nine months and called for an inquiry into these contracts.
KTR also urged the central government to cancel tenders awarded through corrupt practices and criticized the Telangana government's silence on the issue, despite opposition demands for clarification.
