Congress to mobilise five crore signatures against vote chori: Surjewala

Bengaluru, Oct 3 (UNI) Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala today launched a nationwide campaign against what he described as systematic "vote chori" by the ruling BJP.
Surjewala said the Congress Party is mobilising an unprecedented five crore signatures from across the length and breadth of the country as part of the campaign.
"Lakhs of ordinary Congress workers, and even people who are not members of the party, are coming forward to participate in this campaign. The idea is simple: the principle of 'one man, one vote', enshrined in our Constitution, must be upheld," he said, underscoring the gravity of what he called an “assault on the very foundation of our democracy.”
