Bengaluru, Oct 12 (UNI) Voice for Rahul Gandhi to take up the mantle of the Congress President is growing in the rank and files of Karnataka Congress. After Siddaramaiah, KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar Tuesday pitched for the Congress scion to take charge as the AICC chief.
"The entire country and Congress workers want Rahul Gandhi to assume charge. We have been pleading to him to take up the mantle since he quit as AICC president," he told reporters here.
The Congress Working Committee meeting is scheduled on October 16 in New Delhi where the issue is expected to be taken up for discussion.
