Assembly Poll : N R Cong likely to announce on alliance with BJP, AIADMK on Nov 26

Puducherry, Nov 24(UNI) Principal Opposition N R Congress is expected to announce on November 26 on forging alliance with BJP and AIADMK for the assembly election in the Union Territory to be held in 2021 when the party’s new office will be inaugurated by party founder President N Rangasamy.
In the 2016 assembly election, the N R Congress, AIADMK and BJP fought it alone while the Congress and DMK forged an alliance and and won it.
However, after the assembly election, the Nellithoppe bypoll was held within a few months to enable Chief Minister V Narayanasamy to contest and become a member of the legislative assembly.
