Govt to hold responsibility for consequences over reopening of schools in UT from Oct 8 : Anbazhagan

Puducherry, Oct 7 (UNI) With the government decided to reopen the schools for students of 9th standard to 12th standard in the Union Territory from Thursday, AIADMK legislature party leader A Anbazahagan on Wednesday said that it should hold responsibility for the consequences.
In a statement here, Mr Anbazhagan said, Puducherry do not have a Board of Education and it is following the Tamil Nadu Board of Education.
When the Tamil Nadu government announced that it will not reopen the schools for the time being as the lives of the students are more important than anything, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, hearing the advice of private school managements, made arrangements to reopen the schools from tomorrow.
