Left Parties allege BJP-RSS leaders' role in Swapna Suresh's 164 statement

Kochi, June 16 (UNI) Left Parties in Kerala have came out with strong protest against the ruling BJP Government at the Centre alleging that the BJP-RSS leaders were behind the 164 statement of Swapna Suresh, key accused in diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case in Kerala.
Both the CPI and CPI(M) leaders pointed out that Swapna Suresh and another accused PS Sarith were appointed in top posts of High Range Rural Development Society (HRDS), having alleged links with former RSS Pracharak and ABVP leader KG Venugopal, who is now the Vice President of HRDS.
Earlier, CPI(M) leaders including Sitaram Yechury, Prakash Karat, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and LDF Convenor EP Jayarajan alleged that the Swapna Suresh is being used as a political tool to destabilise the Pinarayi Vijayan Government in Kerala.
