Chennithala says Kerala witnesses unusual drama over probe into Life Mission scam

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 28 (UNI) Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Monday said the State was witnessing an unusual drama in connection with the CBI probe into the Life Mission scam.
In a tweet, the Opposition leader said "Kerala is witnessing an unusual drama amidst investigations led by Central Agencies, latest being Vigilance Dept visiting the Government Secretariat at an unusual hour and taking with them important files pertaining to the Life Mission Scam."
On Friday, soon after the announcing of vigilance probe into the scam, a vigilance team from Kottayam conducted an inspection at the Local Self-Government Department in the Secretariat. The team checked all files related to the project and took away some major files.
