Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 30 (UNI) Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Thursday alleged that the State Government’s COVID-19 containment plans have completely failed and the Government is running away from its responsibilities.
Addressing a press conference here after a meeting of the UDF, the Opposition leader said "The LDF government has limited its role to acting against violators of covid protocols and the pandemic is now being treated as a law and order problem instead of a health hazard."
"Currently, there are no takers for the Kerala COVID Containment Model which was highlighted by the government and appreciated by many once. Dharavi Model Covid Containment is being talked about now, and even Kerala has recognised its effectiveness,” he pointed out.
