Pressure mounts on IUML leadership for action on its MLA Kamaruddin

Malappuram, Sep 10 (UNI) With more and more aggrieved persons coming out with complaints of cheating by Majeswaram IUML MLA M C Kamaruddin, the leadership of Indian Union Muslim League has been forced to discuss the issue seriously and take appropriate action against him, who is also the leader of the district unit of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF).
Though Kamaruddin had made it to Malappuram on Thursday to meet and brief the IUML Supremo Hyderali Shihab Thangal at Panakkad near here, the MLA is reported to have denied a direct hearing by Thangal.
Consequent to this, Kamaruddin detailed his version of the case with senior leaders of the party, including its National General secretary P K Kunhalikutty, over phone.
