Kerala CM releases old video to counter Swapna Suresh's allegation

Thiruvananthapuram, June 15 (UNI) Releasing a two-year old video, the office of the Chief Minister of Kerala on Wednesday clarified that Swapna Suresh, an accused in the diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case, visited his official residence along with the UAE Consulate General in Thiruvananthapuram as their staff.
As a staff of the UAE Consulate in Thiruvananthapuram, Swapna Suresh visited Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan several times relating to various functions organised by the local consulate in the State capital.
The Chief Minister said this as a reply to a senior journalist's question on their meetings, during a press conference held on October 13, 2020, according to the video released by the CMO.
