CM main conspirator in Gold smuggling case, he should resign : Surendran

Kozhikode, Oct 8 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party Kerala Unit President K Surendran has demanded that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should immediately resign owning moral responsibility for the gold smuggling case.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, Mr Surendran said it was the Chief Minister who had allegedly plotted the crime and was the main conspirator in the gold smuggling case.
The chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), probing the gold smuggling case, clearly said that the Chief Minister had met the prime accused in the case Swapna Suresh five or six times in the presence of his former Principal Secretary Sivasankar.
