Congress leader Dhruvanaryan demands dismissal of UP Govt

Mysuru, Oct 2(UNI) Senior Congress leader and former MP R Dhruvnarayan on Friday demanded dismissal of Uttar Pradesh government headed by Yogi Adityanath and impose President's rule.
Speaking to newsmen after offering floral tribute to father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Congress Bhavan here, he said, "UP has been witnessing a lot of violent incidents in the recent past, but the Centre and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have remained silent. We condemn the style of functioning. Rape of Dalit girl in Harthas is a shameful act, President Ram Nath Kovind should intervene and dismiss the UP government. Police performed the final rites of the girl without the consent of her parents. It is shameful act and UP has become a ‘goonda state.’
As per the national crime records bureau, UP stands first in terms of violent acts and on Dalits, why is Prime Minister Narendra Modi not issuing a statement, he questioned.
