Most projects implemented now were sanctioned during Congress rule, claims Ramanatha Rai

Mangaluru, Aug 19(UNI) The BJP government has not brought any new projects to the district and the Ambedkar Bhavan and several other schemes which are being implemented were sanctioned during the Congress rule, said senior Congress leader and former minister B Ramanatha Rai here on Thursday.
Speaking after visiting the newly inaugurated Ambedkar Bhavan near Urwastores in Mangaluru on Thursday, he said the inauguration of Ambedkar Bhavan has fulfilled a longstanding dream of the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes people of the areas. He also elaborated on the efforts made by the erstwhile Congress administration to get the Ambedkar Bhavan constructed near Urwastores itself as per the appeal made by the Dalit organisations.
