Congress seeks K'taka CM's apology over his farmers agitation's remark

Bengaluru, Sep 20 (UNI) Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar on Monday strongly criticized the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for calling farmers protest against farm laws 'sponsored' and also sough the CM's unconditional apology over his statement.

Addressing Media persons here, Mr Shivakumar said that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai's statement in this regards was not correct and the remarks are very unfortunate and it is insult to the farmers community.
