Let state government set up corporations for all communities in DK:Khader

Mangaluru, Nov 18(UNI) Congress MLA and former Karnataka minister U T Khader, on Wednesday lashed out at the state government for its decision to form corporations and demanded that the government must also set up a corporation for the development of all castes in the dakshina Kanada district.
"Let the government form corporations for the Billawa, Gatti, Bunts, Kottari, Ganiga and Kulal communities of the district,” said Khader while speaking to mediapersons here.
With regards the announcement of the formation of Maratha Development Corporation, Khader said “ When there was by-election for Sira assembly they formed Gollara Abhivridhi Nigama. Now they have decided to form Maratha Development Corporation. Such corporations are announced only when there is a by-election. Who is resorting to caste appeasement?,” Khader questioned.
