HD Deve Gowda supports lockdown re-clamp in K'taka

Bengaluru, Jul 13 (UNI) JD(S) National President and the former prime minister HD Deve Gowda on Monday supported the state government's decision to re-clamp lockdown to impede the spread of the coronavirus cases.
In a statement, Mr Gowda while welcoming the state government's decision to lockdown Bengaluru and its rural districts for seven days, starting from Tuesday, he had also favoured a complete statewide lockdown to tame the spread of virus.
Appealing the people to strictly adhere to the SOP's issued by the state government, the former prime minister said that "People should remain indoors during the lockdown and venture out only if absolutely necessary and with precautions".
