Congress misleading people on APMC Act amendment: Eshwarappa

Shivamogga, Oct 3 (UNI) Karnataka Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj K S Eshwarappa on Saturday slammed the opposition parties for misleading people on the Farm bills passed by the Centre and protesting in the name of farmers.
Speaking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that farmers were delighted when the Central government passed new laws on agriculture. Farmers should be wary of such liars. Congress’s job was always to cover up the truth and glorify the lie.
He said that when the Rafale deal was signed to strengthen India’s defence system, Congress had accused it of being a big scam. Congress shut its mouth after the Supreme Court said the scam was a lie. They also said that the BJP was being unfair to minorities when it passed the Citizenship Amendment Act, but they closed their mouth when it was learned that the bill had been enacted because to allow Hindus, Muslim and Christians to live with Indian citizenship. Congress has now become a byword for lying.
