K'taka CM urges GP members to work for development of villages

Mysuru, Jan 11 (UNI) Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday called upon the newly-elected Gram Panchayat (GP) members to work hard with full dedication for the development of villages, which would in turn, help the party win the 2023 Assembly polls.
Inaugurating the Jan Sevak conference at Kalamandira here, Mr Yediyurappa said, ''I have assured national leaders that BJP will win 140-150 seats in the coming Assembly elections. That will be possible only if you work hard in your villages.''
Women were earlier not given respect in their houses, but now, they were winning the Gram Panchayat elections, exhibiting the woman power, he noted.
