Vijayawada, Jan 16 (UNI) Telugu Desam party national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Gautham Sawang of acting under the directions of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and as per the script of Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy without abiding by the laws of the land.
Mr.Naidu pointed out that on January 13, the DGP said mad men were responsible for the temple attacks but he changed his statement on January 14 attributing them to the Opposition parties. The Government was complacent till 150 attacks took place on the temples and idols, he slammed.
Addressing Tirupati parliamentary segment leaders on Saturday, Mr.Naidu said that the whole State had seen how the cases of attack on Jagan Reddy, when he the Opposition leader, and the murder of Jagan Reddy’s uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy took place.
