PM Modi must apologise for Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Oct 4 (UNI) Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself should apologise for Lakhimpur Kheri violence where a car of MoS Ajay Mishra allegedly ploughed into the protesting farmers, resulting in their death.
"Four farmers died. They were protesting. It is their right. They were seeking justice. The PM himself should apologise to the inhuman killing of the farmers by the car belonging to the MoS that crushed them to death," he told reporters after the torchlight march which was held in protest against Uttar Pradesh police arresting AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Priyanka Gandhi was arrested by UP police when she was on her way to Lakhimpur Kheri to meet the families of the deceased in the mishap.
