Telangana HC directs govt to initiate steps to prevent spread of Omicron variant

Hyderabad, Dec 23 (UNI)Telangana High Court on Thursday directed the state government to take steps to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant in the state.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice N Tukaramji was hearing a batch of PILs on Omicron variant of Covid.
The bench also asked the state government to issue directions on the control and management of large crowds during the ensuing Christmas, New Year celebrations and Sankranti festival, within two days.
