Three postal employees get 5 years imprisonment for financial fraud

Vijayawada, Aug 1 (UNI) The Additional Special Judge Court for CBI Cases, Visakhapatnam on Thursday convicted Kodamachili Rajendra Prasad, a former Sub-Post Master, and then Postal Assistants I. Satyanarayana and P Appalaswamy, of Yeleswaram Sub Post office, East Godavari District to undergo five years Imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs. 7,000/-, Rs. 8,29,000/- & Rs. 8,59,000/- on them respectively, amounting to a total fine of Rs. 16.95 lakh for financial fraud.

After pronouncement of judgment, the convicts were sent to Central Prison, Visakhapatnam to undergo the sentences imposed by the Ld. Court. A CBI release here on Thursday said that CBI had registered the instant case on March 28,2013 against the accused.
