Economy on recovery path after slump during Covid: CM Bommai

Kolar, Nov 22 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said the state's economy is on a recovery path after the slump during the COVID pandemic.
"Economy of the country and the state suffered huge setbacks over the last 2 years due to the COVID pandemic. Economy of the state in all sectors is showing good recovery after successfully managing the vaccination campaign," he told reporters here after visiting the rain-affected areas of Kolar district.
GST collection touched Rs 1.30 lakh crore last month and is expected to be around Rs 1.20 lakh crore this month, Bommai said.
