Kerala CM-Governor spar turns ugly as governor shares clippings with media

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 19 (UNI) In an unprecedented move against the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Government, Kerala Governor on Monday shared with media a few video clippings and documents relating to protocol violations and violent protests against him at the Indian History Congress at Kannur University in 2019 and nepotism in appointments in the State Universities.
Adding fuel to the fire, the Kerala Governor called a press conference at the Raj Bhavan and said a personal staff of the Chief Minister prevented the police from discharging their duties.
The Kerala Police did not register a case in connection with an attempt to attack him, following the instruction from the Government, in connection with the incident at the Kannur University, he said.
