Kerala shifts 753 to 49 relief camps

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 2 (UNI) Kerala has opened 49 relief camps and shifted 752 people from low lying areas and landslide prone regions to them till Tuesday following torrential rains.
Official sources said 29 people were shifted to camps in Thiruvananthapuram, five in Kollam, 120 in Pathanamthitta, 22 in Alappuzha, 177 in Kottayam, 105 in Idukki, 225 in Thrissur, six in Malappuram, 38 in Wayanad and 31 in Kannur districts.
