Govt to set up six forensic labs in Karnataka: CM Bommai

Hubballi, Sep 27 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai Monday said that Forensic Science Laboratories would be set up in six cities of the state including Kalaburagi, Hubballi-Dharwad and Mysuru to facilitate speedy investigation and crime detection.
Addressing an event held by the police, he said he has already discussed it with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard.
Bommai also said that a training center in the model of National Defence Academy in Khadakwasla would be set up for the mid-level personnel of the state police department.
