Telangana to spend Rs 10,820 crore on irrigation projects in 2024-25: Uttam

Hyderabad, July 28 (UNI) Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy announced that the Congress Government will spend Rs 10,820 crore on irrigation projects in 2024-25.
Addressing a press conference at Jal Soudha on Sunday, after holding a review meeting with the irrigation department, Reddy stated that the irrigation sector received a focused capital investment allocation of Rs 10,820 crore in the financial budget.
Discussions included identifying stalled projects and pending payments. Reddy highlighted the potential for flooding in certain areas during the rainy season and the necessary precautions for reservoirs and tanks.
