Telangana: 6 Maoists, including two women, killed in Karakagudem

Bhadradri Kothagudem (Telangana), Sept 5 (UNI) six armed Maoist cadres, including two women, died and two police personnel were injured in an exchange of fire in Karkagudem police station limits of Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Thursday.
While the police patrol team was moving in the forest area near Mothe village, about 5 km from Karkagudem village under Karkagudem Police station limits, an exchange of fire occurred at around 0645 hours between armed cadres of banned CPI (Maoist) extremists and the police patrol team, a police release said here.
In the fire, six armed cadres of CPI Maoist, including four males and two women, died in exchange for fire.
