Sri City: AP Factories Director asks Industrial units not to deviate safety norms

Sri City (Chittoor district), Oct 31 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Factories Director D.Chandrasekhara Varma on Saturday appealed all the industrial units not to deviate the set safety norms, whatever be the situation.
It is essential to conduct periodical safety-audits and measure the safety performance so as to assess its soundness and efficiency, said Varma, along with Chittoor district factories Deputy Chief Inspector M V Sivakumar Reddy ,who had an interactive meeting with the HR and safety managers of the units located in Sri city.
The Director, who reviewed safety systems of Sri City units, appreciated safety procedures in place and appealed to measure the performance of safety systems.
