Corona positive patients among more than 20,000 underwent dialysis in GHs: Vijayabaskar

Chennai, Aug 25 (UNI) Ensuring that all speciality treatments were given to the needy patients even during the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 20,000 patients including over 1,000 who had tested positive for the corona underwent dialysis in government hospitals in Tamil Nadu, Health Minister C.Vijayabaskar said on Tuesday.

In a press release, the Minister said a total of 20,550 persons, including 1,077 corona positive patients underwent dialysis in government hospitals and government medical college hospitals in the State since March this year.
