Minister Rama Rao distributed PPE safety kits to sanitation, entomology and veterinary workers

Hyderabad, Jul 6 (UNI) Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday distributed PPE Safety kits to the Sanitation, Entomology and Veterinary workers.

Hyderabad Mayor Dr B Rammohan, Musi River Front Development Corporation Chairman, D Sudheer Reddy, MLA Mr Yegge Mallesham, MLC, GHMC Commissioner D S Lokesh Kumar at Animal Care Centre Fathullaguda were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister applauded the efforts of Sanitation, Entomology and Veterinary workers in keeping the City clean and in controlling the spread of COVID-19.

Further, the Minister said that it is also the responsibility of the worker to look after family members well being apart from public service.

Mr Lokesh Kumar apprised to Minister Rama Rao that so far about 1,80,000 Cloth Nose Masks, 27,000 pairs of Hand Gloves and 25,000 litres of Hand Sanitisers were distributed to the Sanitation, Entomology and Veterinary Workers through all circles, who are working on the field at their respective circle office areas.

Further the Commissioner said that the entire 24,500 safety kits should be distributed to the workers within 3 weeks.

On this occasion, the Minister inspected the Animal Care Centre and also Entomology Awareness Stall.
