THANA urges State, Centre to grant ex-gratia of Rs 1 cr to health care workers succumbed to COVID-19

Hyderabad, Sep 4 (UNI) Telangana Hospitals and Nursing homes’s Association has urged State and Central Governments to grant an ex-gratia of Rs one crore to Doctors and associated health workers succumbed to the Coronavirus disease and also to ensure proper medical care facilities to them.
A virtual meeting of the Executive Committee of Telangana Hospitals And Nursing homes’ Association, Telangana State (THANA – TS) was held on Thursday, a THANA statement here said on Friday.
Dr K Ashok Reddy, President, THANA – TS, presided over the meeting. The meeting started with the condolences to the deceased members of the association and the members expressed their deep concern over the death of Doctors and associated Health workers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
