Hyderabad, Oct 17 (UNI) Telangana recorded 1,451 Coronavirus positive cases till 2000 hours on Friday taking the Cumulative COVID-19 cases to 2,20,675 in the state so far.
With nine fresh COVID-19 deaths reported during the last 24 hours, the overall toll climbed to 1,265 constituting a case fatality rate of 0.57 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.57 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Saturday.
A total of 1,983 patients had recovered from coronavirus between Thursday and Friday pushing the cumulative recoveries in the state to 1,96,636 with a recovery rate of 89.1 per cent while the National recovery rate was 87.7 per cent.
