COVID-19 cases count in Telangana rises to 1,89,283 with 2,072 fresh positive cases

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) With 2,072 new Coronavirus positive cases recorded in Telangana up to 2000 hours on Monday, the state's COVID-19 count has risen to 1,89,283 till date.
After a gap of two days, the positive cases again spiked to 2,000 plus as the drop in the cases on Sunday and Monday was due to dip in the COVID-19 tests during the weekend.
The COVID-19 deaths climbed to 1,116 as nine more patients had succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours constituting a case fatality rate of 0.58 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.57 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Tuesday.
