Telangana adds another 1,967 positive cases cases, nine CODID-19 deaths in past 24 hours

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Telangana added another 1,967 COVID-19 positive cases till 2000 hours on Saturday pushing its caseload so far to 1,85,833 and with nine patients succumbing to the deadly virus in the past 24 hours, the toll mounted to 1,100 till date.
Interestingly, the state which has been registering 2,000-plus new cases a day has recorded less 2,000 cases during the last 24 hours. The state managed to keep its fatality rate at less than one per cent.
A state health department bulletin on Sunday said that the case fatality rate in the state was 0.59 while the countrywide mortality rate was 1.57.
