Telangana registers 111 fresh COVID-19 cases, one death

Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Telangana registered 111 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday pushing taking the cumulative number of cases to 6,68,833 so far in the state.

With the death of one patient in the last 24 hours, the death toll in the state due to the pandemic now stands at 3,937 translating a case fatality rate of 0.58 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.3 per cent, according to the bulletin issued by the Office of the Director, Public Health and Family Welfare here on Saturday.
