Puducherry, Dec 28 (UNI) Two persons have tested positive for Omicron variant of Covid-19 in the Union Territory on Tuesday.
Health Department officials said theswab samples of 80-year-old man from here and 20-year-old youth from Lawspet sent for genome sequencing to a laboratory at Bengaluru and the result of the two turned out to be positive for Omicron variant.
Both are isolated and being treated. They are almost recovered now, the officials added.
