Puducherry 33 new cases in the UT in 24 hours

Puducherry, Nov 16 (UNI) As many as 33 more persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the tally of infection to 1,28,495 in the Union Territory.
No deaths were reported during the period and the death toll remained 1,866.
According to the official statement, of the 2,364 swab tests taken yesterday, 33 tested positive for the virus. As many as 16 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 5 in Karaikal, 8 in Yanam and 4 in Mahe regions. 18 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours, 5 each in Puducherry and Karaikal regions and 5 each in Yanam and Mahe regions.
