Central team conclusion that 95 pc of population in UT likely to be infected by COVID is wrong: Ramadass

Puducherry, Sep 7 (UNI) Former Lok Sabha member from Puducherry Prof M Ramadass on Monday said that the conclusion of the Central team that 95 percent of the population in the Union Territory are likely to be infected by the Coronavirus is wrong.
In a statement here, Prof Ramadass said the recommendations given by the central team to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the UT is correct and has to be implemented by the government forthwith.
However, the conclusion of the Central team that 95 percent of the population in UT are likely to be infected, without any survey among the people or blood test, is on the basis of some assumption and thus the team lost its credibility.
