Lockdown a temporary blunt tool : Ramadass

Puducherry, Aug 10 (UNI) Former Lok Sabha member from Puducherry Prof M Ramadass on Monday maintained that the lockdown which Chief Minister V Narayanasamy advocates now is a temporary blunt tool to cure the Coronavirus internally.
In a statement here, Prof Ramadass said testing the entire population, though little laborious and burdensome, is a necessary and sufficient condition for freeing the territory from the clutches of this pandemic within the next one month.
He said setting up 8 testing centres at Puducherry and one centre each at the remaining regions can facilitate large scale testing suggested.
