Union Home Secretary takes presentation from Pondy CS on control of spread of Corona in UT

Puducherry, Sep 15 (UNI) Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi on Tuesday said that Union Home Secretary, Additional Secretary, Health took a presentation from Puducherry Chief Secretary, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner and Health Secretary on the measures taken in the Union territory to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
In a whatsapp posting, the Lt Governor said that they were satisfied with the progress made here in the last one week and gave valuable guidance for improvement to sustain the momentum such as how to reduce delay in patients going to hospital, increase in home visits, increase on attention on people outside containment zones and among other things.
She said the afternoon briefing today by the officials with her was informative on various steps being taken by the team on ground.
